Ingredients:
- 1 cup tahini
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350F 175C and line a baking sheet with parchment paper
In a mixing bowl, combine the tahini, brown sugar, maple syrup, almond milk, and vanilla extract
Mix until smooth and well combined
In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until a cookie dough forms
Fold in the vegan chocolate chips
Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving some space between each cookie
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown
The cookies will continue to firm up as they cool
Remove from the oven and let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely
