Ingredients:
- 4 4 oz beef tenderloin steaks, trimmed
- 1/4 tsp kosher salt
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Olive oil spray
- 1 large onion, sliced into 1/4-inch rings
- 8 oz sliced mushrooms
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
- 1/4 cup beef broth
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions:
Add salt and pepper to both sides of the steaks
Spray the pan with olive oil spray and heat it over medium-high heat
Then add the steaks
Cook for three to four minutes on each side, or until done to your liking
Take out of the pan and set it aside with foil over it
Put the mushrooms and onions in the same pan and cook for about 34 minutes, until the mushrooms start to get soft
After you add the garlic, cook for one more minute
Add the Worcestershire sauce, beef broth, and balsamic vinegar and mix them in
It will take about 5 minutes of cooking until the liquid is cut in half
Put the steaks back in the pan and cook for another two to three minutes to let the flavors mix
Add chopped parsley as a garnish before serving
