Grilled Marinated Flank Steak with Creamy Lime Sauce



This grilled marinated flank steak is bursting with flavor from the soy sauce, garlic, and lime juice marinade. The creamy lime sauce adds a refreshing tanginess that perfectly complements the savory steak. It's an easy and delicious dish that's sure to impress!

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 lbs flank steak
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon lime zest
  • Salt to taste

Instructions:

In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, black pepper, and lime juice

Place flank steak in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish, pour marinade over steak, and seal bag or cover dish

Marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour, turning occasionally

Preheat grill to medium-high heat

Remove steak from marinade and discard excess marinade

Season steak with salt

Grill steak for 6 to 8 minutes per side, or to desired doneness

Let steak rest for a few minutes before slicing thinly against the grain

While steak is resting, prepare the creamy lime sauce by combining sour cream, mayonnaise, cilantro, and lime zest in a small bowl

Season with salt to taste

Serve sliced steak with creamy lime sauce drizzled over the top
